Introduction

Note: In the event of conflict between the English and domestic language, the English language shall take precedence.

Purpose. This procedure attempts to quantify the blush resistance of plastic materials (primarily used with polypropylene and related color concentrates). It establishes a Stress Evaluation Test (SET) number which can be used to predict blushing due to changes in pigment concentration.

Applicability. This test is intended for polyolefinic materials only.
