Rubber Insulating Line Hose

This Standard covers the minimum requirements for standard sizes of rubber and rubber-like insulating line hose used as protection from electric shock while working on, or in the vicinity of, energized conductors. Hereinafter, the term rubber includes rubber-like materials that conform to this Standard.
This Standard covers two types of line hose designated as: Type I, non-resistant to ozone; and Type II, resistant to ozone.
This Standard covers five classes of line hose, differing in electrical characteristics, designated as: Class O, Class 1, Class 2, Class 3 and Class 4.
This Standard covers four styles of line hose, differing in design characteristics, designated as: Style A, Style B, Style C and Style D.
