This AD 2000-Merkblatt applies to equipment of pressure vessels with devices for detecting and limiting pressure and temperature 1)
Where other regulations apply to special pressure vessels, these are contained in AD 2000-Merkblatt HP 801.
1) If accessories themselves constitute pressure vessels (safety accessories, pressure-bearing accessories), they shall be subjected to a separate conformity assessment and be marked with a CE marking if they come within annex I of the Pressure Equipment Directive.
