scope:
This AD 2000-Merkblatt is applicable to bolts and nuts and to long products used to make them of unalloyed and alloyed steels used for the construction of pressure vessels, which are operated at working temperatures and ambient temperatures down to -10 °C and up to the upper temperature limits specified in clause 2.
For working temperatures below -10 °C, AD 2000-Merkblatt W 10 also applies.
For bolts and nuts made of austenitic and austenitic-ferritic steels, AD 2000-Merkblatt W 2 applies. See also 2.2 of AD 2000-Merkblatt W 0.
