This AD 2000-Merkblatt covers the testing of the quality characteristics of welded joints and the testing of the parent metal following post-weld heat treatment of pressure vessels and pressure vessel components (production tests) made of steel, aluminium and aluminium alloys, nickel and nickel alloys and reactive metals. In the case of other non-ferrous metals, the following regulations shall be applied as appropriate.
