scope:
This AD 2000-Merkblatt is applicable to cast steel used for the construction of pressure vessels and pressure vessel components which are operated at working temperatures and ambient temperatures down to -10 °C and up to the upper temperature limits specified in clauses 2 and 3. For working temperatures below -10 °C, AD 2000-Merkblatt W 10 also applies.
AD 2000-Merkblatt A 4 applies to accessory housings.
Basic requirements for materials and material manufacturer are regulated in AD 2000-Merkblatt W 0.
