scope:

This Guidance document applies to London Underground BCV/SSL owned or maintained Premises Station and Lineside building assets, excluding signage (inspected by the AP Electrical area, illuminated signs are tested as part of the Station electrical Programme every year and the suspended signs are checked for the integrity of their fixings every 3 years).

Purpose

The purpose of this Guidance document is to provide supporting information for inspections to determine and report on the condition of Premises assets and to identify their maintenance requirements and costs so that they remain in operation, with minimal disruption to railway operations. This purpose of this Guidance document is also to describe the Inspection requirements for the Premises assets of Stations and Lineside Buildings.
