scope:
This reference document applies to two processes:
• For regular collections of scrap, an on-going contract will be established by Distribution Services and nominated Customer Local Contacts will be authorised to arrange exchanges of skips or collections of materials direct with contractors
• All other requests (including the delivery of additional skips to Regular Collection sites) will be considered as "ad-hoc requests" and will be arranged via the Scrap and Waste Subcontract manager.
Purpose
This reference document helps to:
• provide ease of customer job booking
• ensure all relevant information is available to meet customer requirement for scrap removal effectively and allocate credits/charges to the correct accounts.
