This Standard applies to all LU Directorates. It outlines how to monitor compliance with, and the sufficiency of, the risk control measures in place at a location. Systems Checks are not 'physical' checks of assets or conditions.
Purpose
The purpose of this Standard is to outline the arrangements for health, safety and environmental management systems checks, by which managers seek assurance that the systems and procedures implemented for the control of health, safety and environmental risks are operating satisfactorily in the areas for which they are responsible
