Purpose

The purpose of this notice board is to highlight the issues that emerged from the investigation into the Ufton level crossing incident on 4th September 2011 and the steps that can be taken in the design of screen maps on VDU-based Signalling Control Systems (VSCS) to avoid or reduce such operational risks in the future.
