scope:
The equipment covered by this specification shall detect the direction of the earth's magnetic field with respect to the direction of the aircraft and shall be capable of operating with ambient temperatures up to 200°C.
The detector covered by this specification shall consist of the following items:
Type Designation Applicable Paragraph Transmitter, Induction TRU-79A/A 3.5.1 Compensator, Electronic MXU-394/A 3.5.2
This equipment shall operate with the associated equipment listed in 6.5.
