Foreword
This draft amendment to ETS 300 196-1 (1993) has been produced by the Signalling Protocols and Switching (SPS) Technical Committee of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), and is now submitted for the Unified Approval Procedure (UPA) phase of ETSI standards approval procedure
This amendment takes over all changes contained in prior corrigenda, i.e. editiorial modifications of subclauses 8.2.2.4 and 8.3.1.1.1, clause D.7 and annex G of ETS 300 196-1 (1993) in order to clarify some issues in relation with the encoding of ASN.1 data structures and correct some editorial mistakes.
Furthermore, this amendment contains takes into account the definition of two new teleservices, the file transfer and access management teleservice and the Eurofile transfer teleservice
