Purpose.
The importance of computer resources to modern systems requires that the Air Force place ade· quate emphasis on the management of computer resources within the context of the overall system. The purpose of this regulation is to ensure that computer resources in systems are planned, developed, acquired, employed, and supported to effectively and efficiently accomplish assigned Air Force missions. Definitions of terms and acronyms used in this regulation are listed in attachments 1 and 2. A list of referenced documents is in attachment 3.
