These Requirements apply to frame assemblies for swinging lire doors, which have demonstrated in fire tests fire-resistive properties sufficient to warrant their use with lire doors having a rating of 3-, 1½-, 1-, or ¾--hour when tested in accordance with the Standard for Fire Tests of Door Assemblies, lili 10(b) (ANS A2.2-1008). Tho frames may includo provision lor transoms or mullions.

Requirements for the installation of these frames arc included in the Standard of the National Fire Protection Association for Firo Doors and Windows, NFPA No. 80-08.
