This Standard defines the requirements for biaxially oriented polyester film supplied in the form of rolls or sheets of specified widths, and available in thicknesses up to 350 pm. Two types are specified as follows:
Type 1. For use where good optical clarity is required.
Type 2. For use where electrical properties are of prime importance. This type may be slightly hazy or milky in appearance.
