scope:
This specification establishes the requirements for the manufacture, inspection and testing of the subject guided missile launchers. The test limits in this specification do not necessarily define maximum capabilities. The guided missile launchers are capable of retaining and releasing a missile or a target rocket.
Guided missile launchers, hereinafter called launchers, covered by this specification shall be of the following types:
Type I LAU-7/A Series Guided Missile Launcher (Navy type)
Type II LAU-7A/A Series Guided Missile Launcher (Air Force type)
intended Use:
