scope:
Being a general code it describes design criteria, material recommendations, installation procedures, etc. for protection of ordinary buildings as well as more complicated structures, such as hospitals, industrial plants, etc. Exceptions are nuclear plants, buildings holding explosives or very expensive or irreplaceable objects, windmills, etc. The code includes external protection as well as internal protection.
