This standard defines a standard Ada language binding to POSIX.1 {2}, as amended by POSIX.1b {3}, POSIX.1c {4}, and POSIX. 1i, which are hereinafter called the base standards. (See § 1.2) The base standards define C-language interfaces to operating system services.
