This standard covers the design, installation maintenance, and test of water spry fixed system, for fire protection service
Purpose. The purpose of this standard is to provide the minimum requirements for fixed water spray systems based upon sound engineerng principles, test data and field experience. Nothing in this standard is intended to restrict new technologies or alternate arrangements providing the level of safety prescribed by the standard is not lowered.
