INTRODUCTION

This specification sets out the requirements for:

A PVC insulated twisted twin flexible cord for the firing of detonators used for demolition purposes.

A PVC insulated, yellow PVC sheathed twin core flexible cord for use in detonator firing circuits for R and D trials.

In each case the lay length of the twisted pair of cores has been specified to reduce radio-frequency pick-up by the detonator firing lines.
