Defence Standard 02-5 12 Part 7 contains details for the selection of miscellaneous electrical cables and wires used on special services in HM Surface Ships and Submarines. It also provides reference data for the glands, deck tubes and cable terminations associated with the particular cables.
This DEF STAN contains the new Limited Fire Hazard (LFH) cables available, which are manufactured and tested to the requirements of DEF STAN 02-517 Parts 1 to 5.
