This order delineates FAA approval and surveillance of the Repair Assessment Programs required by parts 91, 121, 125, and 129 (U.S.-registered airplanes).
PURPOSE. This order provides guidance for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) personnel regarding the implementation and surveillance of the Repair Assessment Programs required by Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) parts 91, 121, 125, and 129. It also sets forth and clarifies the responsibilities and procedures for all affected FAA offices.
