This standard covers performance requirements for stored electrical energy systems providing an alternate source of electircal power in building and facilities in event that the normal electrical power source fails.
NONE: For emergency power systems supplied by emergency generators, see NFPA 110, Standard for Emergency and standby Power Systems.
Systems covered in this standard include power sources, transfer equipment, controls, supervisory equipment, and accessory equipment, including integral accessory equipment, needed to supply electrical power to the selected circuits.
This standard covers installation, maintenance, operation, and testing requirements as they pertain to the performance of the stored emergency power supply system (SEPSS).
