This handbook is a catalog of military non-nudear fuzes and their explosive components. It lists technical data for both old (obsolete and terminated) and current (standard and developmental) items. Excluded are:

a. fuzes for nuclear ammunition

b. foreign fuzes

c. devices of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the Atomic Energy Commission

d. commercial explosive components

e. power sources

f. timers

g. sensing elements

h. demolition items

i. openers

j. miscellaneous firing devices

k. complex missile fuzing systems that consist of many identifyble components dispersed throughout the system.
