This part of IEC 60364 provides general requirements for protection, isolation, switching, control and monitoring with the requirements for selection and erection of the devices provided to fulfill such functions, including requirements to provide compliance with measures of protection for safety.
The requirements of this part are supplementary to the common rules given in part 5-51.
