This Standard, which applies to water-reducing strength-increasing admixtures, set-retarding admixtures, accelerating admixtures, and strength-increasing admixtures, covers physical requirements, qualification tests, methods of sampling, and information to be supplied by the manufacturer.

This Standard does not include requirements for several types of chemical admixtures, such as accelerating water-reducing strengthincreasing admixtures, non-chloride accelerating admixtures, and strength-increasing accelerating admixtures.
