Description
Beeswax is a natural wax of complex composition, but is essentially a mixture of esters of monohydric alcohols (e.g. myricyl palmitate) together with fatty acids of high molecular weight (e.g. cerotic acid).
Beeswax is used in Mineral jelly-beeswax preservative, and in admixture with certain high explosives.
