This specification covers requirements for the preparation of operation manuals and associated checklists for intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs). Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may be of use in improving this document should be addressed to: Ballistic Systems Division/AWD, Norton AFB, CA 92409 by using the self-addressed Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this document or by letter.

Two types of operation manuals and associated checklists are covered by this specification. The types of manuals and associated checklists to be prepared shall be designated by the acquiring activity.

Technical manuals prepared in accordance with this specification are intended to provide operating procedures for intercontinental ballistic missile combat crews.
