scope:
This specification covers thermosetting plastic laminated insulation materials for mechanical and electrical military applications.
The form and type of insulation shall be as specified in the applicable specification sheet (see 3.1 and 6.2.1).
The types of insulation grouped according to the base material used, shall be as follows:
a. Cotton Fabric Base, Phenolic-Resin Binder
