AIM

The aim of this agreement is to define a target acquisition meteorological message for RPV, drone, weapon locating radar and sound ranging systems, and to standardize the number of its information digits and their meanings for use by any service of any country. This will make it possible for all armed forces to:

1. Produce the message either by conventional or ADP methods.

2. Understand and use the message with either conventional or ADP based drone, weapon locating radar and sound ranging systems.

This agreement applies to all armed forces of NATO nations.
