This Part of the Standard specifies requirements for the proof of explosive operated devices, discharging shot, bullet or other projectiles up to and including 2 inches (50.8 mm) in diameter, 'small arms' in particular, to contractors engaged in the design, manufacturing and procurement of such items and those contractors concerned with the maintenance of proven items. It does not apply to Infantry Morotars.
