This Practice covers the requirements for electrical enclosures, motors, motor controllers, heaters, relays, controls and control panels, control stations, pilot devices, indicating lights, transformers, wires, and conduits furnished as components of a unitized package of equipment.

This Practice does not include medium-voltage motor controllers, DC motors and controllers, substations, and power control centers.

Purpose

The purpose of this Practice is to provide a specification for purchase, including design, fabrication, testing, shipment, and documentation of all electrical devices and electrical systems furnished as components of a unitized skid-mounted package of equipment.
