6.1 SCOPE.
6.1.1 Purpose. This section establishes the standard format for engineering drawings. By limiting a selected number of standard sizes and by including a uniform planned format, the following will be achieved: a. Prevention of an inventory of excessive sizes. b. Improved readability, because like information is placed in the same location on all drawings. c. Increased productivity in making reproductions. d. Improved and reduced filing procedures.
