This standard covers the requirements for nondestructive testing, welding, quality control and identification and HI shock for piping system components. It does not apply to primary side components of nuclear ships.
Applicability. -When this standard is referenced in a specification (ships specification, piping system component specification or purchase order), all sections are applicable. If only certain sections are applicable, they shall be as specified by the purchasing activity.
