INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this Defence List is to provide basic information to those concerned with demand and procurement of precision measuring instruments (mechanical).
Part 1 of this Defence List contains standard items common to two or more Services.
Part 2 contains items peculiar to the Air Force. There axe no Army instruments eligible for inclusion as single-user items. The Navy does not submit Part 2 lists.
