scope:
The standard establishes a classification of technical aids for disabled persons and can be used in conjunction with information systems. For the time being, the standard is restricted to all technical aids, mainly individually used. In special cases, parts, accessories and adaptions are separately classified. Technical aids for public traffic and accessibility in buildings are not dealt with, but will be incorporated later.
