The provisions of this instruction apply to all civilian employees in SPAWAR Headquarters, PEO, and SPAWAR field activities.
Purpose. To establish SPAWAR requirements and policy for approval of long-term temporary duty (TDY) travel. For the purpose of this instruction, TDY in excess of 30 days is long-term TDY.
