This European Telecommunication Standard (ETS) provides specifications for the standardization of the characteristics of the minimum required Network Control Facilities (NCFs) for Mobile Earth Stations (MESs) with both transmit and receive capabilities in order to ensure that the network operator is able to suppress and enable the transmissions from the MESs. In particular, these facilities will permit to stop certain interference situations resulting from the emissions from the MESs.
This ETS defines specifications for the control facilities in an MES network operating voice and/or data communications, as defined in ETS 300 423 [1].
This ETS deals with specifications defined, in order to protect other users of the frequency spectrum form unacceptable interference.
