PURPOSE. The procedures of this manual furnish instructions on particular areas for quality assurance necessary to establish uniform levels of performance on clothing, Textiles and Life Support Equipment (C&T) commodities. The appellation of these procedures in conjunction with DLAM 8200.1; DLAM 8200.2, Procurement Quality Assurance Support Manual for Defense Contract Administration Services; and other required documents are intended to assure effective and efficient quality actions.
