The equipment covered by this specification is a Vertical Gyroscope Indicator System operated by 115/200 volt, 400 Hertz, 3-phase, 4-wire wye power supply.
The Vertical Gyroscope Indicator System shall consist of the items listed in 6.7. The Gyroscope System shall be of the following types:
Type I Three-Inch System Type II Five-Inch System
intended Use:
The Vertical Gyroscope Indicator System covered by this specification is intended for use in high performance aircraft to provide continuous flight reference data.
