The present document specifies the Abstract Test Suite (ATS) and partial Protocol Implementation eXtra Information for Testing (PIXIT) proforma for implementations conforming to the stage three standard for the Generic Addressing and Transport protocol for the pan-European Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN). The present document is applicable to both user and network sides of the T or T b reference point or coincident S and Tor S b and T b reference points and to inter-exchange links. The normative part of the present document is independent of the underlying signalling system(s) which may include DSS1, DSS2 and SS7. In addition informative material concerning its application over DSS1 is included.
