The aim of this agreement is to provide all NATO nations with a common basis on which to evaluate and specify alpine and cross-country skis and ski poles.
Note: This will facilitate exchange of requirements and reduce duplication of effort by ensuring awareness of one another's equipment in precise standardized terms.
