This standard provides a guide for conducting 400 hertz (Hz) power system tests to determine that the 400 Hz power system is compatible with the equipment served and that the system characteristics are within the limits specified in DOD-STD-1399, section 300.

intended Use:

This standard is used to assure that the ships 400 Hz systems characteristics are within established limits and are compatible with equipment served.
