Purpose.  To provide guidance to the Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education (MPT&E) domain regarding the segmentation and classification marking of content within the Learning Management System/Learning Content Management System (LMS/LCMS), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) ILE and NKO-S per policy and standards contained in reference (a).

This instruction applies to all military, civilian, and contractor personnel submitting content for hosting within the LMS/LCMS, ILE and NKO-S.  All digital media that is not specifically addressed in reference (a) (i.e., web pages, dynamic media, embedded video, etc.) must be reviewed for proper classification marking and application of appropriate safeguards.
