Analysis of Higher Purity Copper Cathode Cu-CATH-1 Part 5: Method for the Determination of Sulphur by Hydrogen Sulphide Evolution and Spectrophotometry
inactive, Most Current
| Organization: | BSI |
| Publication Date: | 31 January 1986 |
| Status: | inactive |
| Page Count: | 10 |
| ICS Code (Copper and copper alloys): | 77.120.30 |
scope:
Sulphur concentrations from 5 µg/g to 30 µg/g. Dissolution in a reducing acid containing antimony, which reduces the sulphur to hydrogen sulphide. The hydrogen sulphide is converted to zinc sulphide, which is then measured photometrically as methylene blue.
