scope:
This regulation applies to all Army personnel, including personnel of the Army National Guard of the United States and the U.S. Army Reserve, who manage, prepare, and distribute Army correspondence. During full mobilization, requirements of this regulation, except those imposed by Public Law, are exempt.
This regulation prescribes Department of the Army (DA) policies, procedures, and standard formats for preparing and processing Army correspondence.
