scope:
The standard specifies a method for determining the resistance to damage of wall components exposed to impact loads produced by human motion. The method has been developed for all types of non-load bearing lightweight partitions, but can be used also for other vertical building elements such as outer walls and heavy walls. The method deals with wall components which are supported at top and bottom. Other relevant support conditions are applicable.
