This Standard relates to two grades of cutting fluid.
a. Fluid ZX-6 is a mineral oil compounded with fatty oil and combined sulphur. It is for in thread- grinding, rifling and other cutting operations.
b. Fluid ZX-27 is a mineral oil with added sulphur. It is for use in operations where 'active' sulphur is required.
WARNING: Fluid ZX-27 shall not be used in contact with copper or alloys containing copper.
