PREFACE
The standards set forth herein apply to the fourth edition of the Standards for Gas-Fired Pool Heaters, ANSI Z21.56-1983, and Addenda thereto, Z21.56a-1984, and supersede corresponding standards therein. With this addenda, the standard has been retitled American National Standard for Gas-Fired Pool and Spa Heaters. Following their preparation by the supervising subcommittee, they were accepted by American National Standards Committee Z21 and subsequently approved as American National Standard by the American National Standards Institure, Inc.
NOTE: Changes, other than editorial, are denoted by a vertical line in the margin.
