This specification covers requirements for synthetic, tarnish-resistant gold lace with an interwoven scarlet center stripe.

The lace will be of one type in the following classes, as specified (see 6.2).

Class 1 - ⅜ inch wide

Class 2 - ⅝ inch wide

Class 3 - 1-¼ inch wide
